A Delicious Cultural Heritage....By Sahifi R.O n Afiq R.O.....

Peninsular Malaysia is a food-lovers dreams both in terms of value for money and variety. Like other cultural heritage,Malaysian cuisine is richly diverse. There are many eating places, with roadside stalls being particularly popular with Malaysian.

Traditional Malay cooking is found throughout the peninsular. Some Malay food is hot but other are not. Thanks to the extensive use of coconut milk in Malay curries which gives them their typically milky appearance.

Another truly spectacular dessert is ais kacang,a veritable mountain of ice shaving streaked with red, green, and brown syrup and laced with condensed milk. This heap hides a treasure trove base of sweet bean,agar-agar,sweet potato, sweet corn kernels, and attap chee, the chewy jelly-like fruit of a mangrove palm..........
