Fact 1

According to the Malaysian Council for Tobacco Control (2005), 25% of all deaths in Malaysia are due to cigarettes smoking, with smoking-related deaths comprising three out of five top killers in Malaysia.

Fact 2

The total number of smokers increased slightly from 2001 to 2007, with 49.87% of males being smokers in 2007, although there was a drop in female smokers between 2006 and 2007 from 18.88% to 18.26%. (1)

Fact 3

A twenty-a-day smoker, aged 30, who started smoking at around 16 has already breathed a kilo of tar into their lungs.

Fact 4

Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, many of which are highly toxic and over 40 of which are known to cause cancer. There is no safe 'low tar' cigarette and no safe level of smoking.

Fact 5

Male smokers may produce less sperm and their sperm may have more abnormalities than non-smokers. Women who smoke are more likely to have a miscarriage (2). Several studies have found that women who smoke have decreased fertility. Of these, one study has found that smokers have about 72% of the fertility of non-smokers (3).

Fact 6

A smoker is 10 times more likely to develop lung cancer. Heavy smokers are 15 to 25 times more at risk than non-smokers (4). 85% of all male cases and 77% of female cases of lung cancer are related to smoking (5).

Fact 7

Smoking reduces life expectancy by 7 - 8 years. That means, each cigarette shortens the life of the smoker by around 8 minutes.

Fact 8

Women smokers who use the pill increase their risk of a heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases by about ten times (6).

Fact 9

Over 57, 000 reports worldwide have examined the link between cigarette smoking and disease, making it the most researched cause of disease ever investigated in the history of Biomedical Research (7).

     Love is important in our life.Love is universal meaning such as love people,animal,thing,enviroment or country.from love,we can get benefits.Before i forget,i should be able to share what is truely love.love is reaction between different sex such as between boy and girl or likes do something  or want to protect country.

      I love you.you will say it to your loved person.Why we love  another person?It is because you want to protect another person or you want another person love you.The benefits from it,you can share a problem with her or him.at least,they can give advices to make you cool or happy again .Then with the love person you will share the happiness .Another person loves animal.they kept animal to be their pet.The best pet is cat .When you kept pet ,your tension will realese.

MY CAT

   I have a cute cat. My cat's name is Kaka. It have grey and brown colour on it fur. It fur is so soft and charming.It has a round shape face. I take it from my village. I kept as a pet from it is small until now. My cat makes me happy. My cat will give out the "meow" sound if it want  to eat. My father and my mother treat it nicely.

   Next, is has many girlfriends. At night, it sleeps next to me. It always eat the rice and fish and drink pipe water. It is brave cat. It do not like a frieskies. My cat always climb on the tree to trap the fly. It run fastly when I am chasing it.

   When my family and I back to village, we will bring it together. My action brings it back to village cause my cousin shock. At my village, my cat have gone. So, my family and I finding it at anywhere and finally I found it in a house.

   At least, I loves my cat as I loves my family. As it has being stayed for us a many years.

Internet Abuse

            The Internet is on everybody's lips nowadays, much more than Mc Donald's or KFC. It is such a wonderful tool for education, work, information, buy or sell things and play that sometimes we wonder how we survived before this. Some people call it the eight wonder while others condemn it as discruptive.


            Parents laments thet their children spend to much time on the Internet. Compaies are losing their productivity when their employees spend time surfing the Net. Hence, this is not the main concern of parents. They are more concern with harmful elements, like harmful sites or online predators, in the Internet that the children and youths are exposed to. These predators contact innocent children between the age of ten to fourteen. Some parents despair ever their inability to monitor their children's use of the Internet as they are not so tecnologically advanced.


            This issue can be addressed with the Internet filtering software.
The software stores a list of websites and keywords to detect and prevent unwanted Internet content from getting into the children are surfing or their e-mail. Through this system, if unsavoury content is detected, the sites is automatically blocked. Parents can breathe easy that their children are protected from harmful sites and predators. They can even filter materials that are seditious in nature or games that are considered violent in content. 

             Another advantage of the filtering software is its timing feature. Children can be over-enthusiastic about Internet surfing and games. Sometimes, they become so absorbed in computers games that they neglect their school work. While preparing for and during examination times, parents do not want the children to be distracted. The timing device can be used to set specific durations of up a week to allow or disallow Internet access. Parents can do this at their own discretion.


            At work some employees use the Internet for non-work related purposes. They sends personal emails, do online chatting, surf non-work related sites or download music, video and games. To aid compainies who do not want to antagonise their employees by openly chiding their employees, the filtering software can also be used to monitor their employees' Internet use. A re[port use to monitor their employees' access, including visited websites, dates and time of visits. the frequency of the visits can be charted on a graph.


           With such technological help, parents can protect their children while employers can discreetly monitor their employees' productivity..,

THE GREEN HOUSE EFFECT

The green house effect is an important natural process. Without it, the earth would be too cold for the survival of living organisms. When the light counters the Earth's atmosphere some of this solar radiation if reflected back into space.  As the Earth is warmed-heat in the form of infrared radiation is radiated back into space.

However much of this heat does not escape from the atmosphere but remains trapped by the green house gases. At the same time green house gases also radiate heat in the form of infrared radiation back to the panels of green house which trap heat and warm the green house called green house affect.

As the concentration of the green house gases rises the green house effect become more pronounced. As more heat is wrapped in the atmosphere, the earth average temperature rises. Why the concentrations of green house gases increasing ? Scientists believe that the burning of  fossil fuels and other human activities such as deforestation and industrial production are the primary reasons for the increased concentration at atmospheric carbon dioxide.

Today carbon dioxide form coal fired power stations and vehicle exhausts in the main green house gas other contributory pollutants includes, chlorofluorocarbon (CFC),  methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. The data collected around the world show a steady increase in the concentration of green house gases.  Thus, we should save our Earth from pollution and be a part of saving our Earth.

AMBITION

   Today, people are not realize the important of an ambition to them. When we are in a childhood, teacher always ask us about our ambition when we grew up, such as to be a doctor, teacher, lecture, engineer and other occupations. The ambitions is important to us because it  a destiny of our future.
   An ambition is not come without an interest, knowledge and hobby. Interest in doing some job is the excellent way to get a good quality of product. Such as being a businessman has to face  a lot of  hardship. Moreover, we can get a knowledge about some occupation and the way of management of handle some jobs. Hobby also an afford to achieve a success from our ambition, because some activity that we feel happy in doing so, can make us enjoys doing our work.
   People without an ambitions they will hard to find a jobs. Beside that, they also not confident with their own instinct and they only flow with the trend and the procedure in pick some course. Beside, people without an ambition cannot develop themselves to be a successful person, as they only helps their family business in the village. While their friend are continued studying abroad and start a new life in other country.
   Ambition can make we feel happy as we can achieve it and continued with our flying colour in the exam. People with an ambition, they have a target to achieve it and to run after  it because 'opportunity knocks but one' . People just not only have a hope, but they have to work harder because 'don't count your chickens before they are hatched'. People have to think positive when they always fail in doing some work because where there is a will, there is a way and they always have to try, even though it harder to do it.
   In conclusion, ambition is important to us to find our identity in life. Because it decide what we gonna be as we are adult soon.

My name is Shahira. I am a Chemistry's student. I studied in SMK Kota Masai 2. My favourite subject is chemistry and my ambition is to be a lecturer.The influence of my ambition to be a lecturer mounts when I go to 'Small Changes,Big Different Camp' and I meet with Madam Murni, Miss Suraya, Mr Eric and Mr Wan Zu. They teach me about the importance of English and how to achieve my ambition as a lecturer.

Now, I am at Form 4, I am trying to achieve success for my SPM next year. After SPM, I will continue my studies to get a degree pf Chemistry course. It will take about 3 years. Then, I want to continue to get a mesters for my Chemistry course. Next, I will apply a job as a tutor at UPM. So, I can continue and practice my knowledge to the students.

But, when I had already my masters, Madam Murni said, I will offered to continue my PhD and I will take the chance to continue my studies. The best part is my PhD is paid by the university. I also will get some daily allowance.

Water

                           Water is the most important in our daily life.Everyone in this world need water to survive.No matter there is no food in this world,but we also need water at the end of lesson.So,there are many important of water.

                           For example,water can make our body stay healthy.This is because the water that we drink,will absorb in each part of body and supply the oxygen in the body.This is very important for our brain to thing about any subject that we learn.Student are advised to bring a bottle of water to school for drink at the end of subject.Expecially at the end of Additional Mathematics.Water also can give energy at many student in the class.

                          Apart from that,water can survive our routine in everyday life.For example,it can help for washing the clothes,shower our body that stinky,washes the car and motorcycles,and many routine.But,we need to save when using water to avoid deficiency of water.

                          Moreover,water also important in hydroelectric to produce electric energy at many country on the world.Tasik Kenyir is the biggest place that use hydroelectric system that use water and conducted the energy to the near place.It also can help to save budjet of our country to buy electric in Brazil.

                          In conclusion,we know that water is the most important in life style.Even it is also important to the world.So,we must take care our water before it become a pollution.Whatever how many people want to pollution,we should take care to much our water.This important of water are little than many important.

MY FAMILY

           My day is cheerful and blissful because of my family.For me,they are very meaningful.They are my life.And I willing to do anything for them.I have a firm father.I have a loving mother.I have a caring sister.And I have a teasing brother.But,I will feel lonely without him.Because he always brings a laughter in our sweet home.

           Daily school hours,I can't wait to go home.Because for me,home is my place to being happy,sad,annoy and being loved by family.My brother named is Muhammad Zakir Haiqal and we called him as 'adik'.My parents pamper him until he was so extreme for me.He always pick a fight with me than my sister.Because of that,sometimes my parents scold me.That's why if I want to fight with him,I will wait until no one around me.But I glad because sometimes,my parents will scold him.Yes,now I'm satisfied!

           Nazathul Najwa is my sister.Now,she is no longer stays with us.Because she has further her studies at Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan.No way!It's too far.Oh God,I miss her!I bet when she's here with me,she will backing me when my parents scold me.Because she always do that.Talk about her,remind me to our past.In 2002,I was in standard 1.We studied at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pasir Gudang 4.When it was time to us go home,she asked me to waited her at flag's pole.But when I waited her,she didn't came up.So,I cried because I was too fear.Then,she came to me and asked me why I'm crying.And I told her I was too fear.After that,I thought she want to calm me but instead.I was scolded by her.She's like a lioness.I was lucky she didn't eat me.I bet she hungry that time.But when someone teasing me,she gave a warning to that person.She saved me.Like an angel.Sister,thank you for that and all.

           Rohani is my loving mother.She always by my side when I need someone.She always cook for me especially my favorite dish.She always want to being the best for me.Mother,you shouldn't do that because to me,you are the best mother.And every moment with you makes me feel appreciated.Sulaiman is my father.Although he is firm but he shows his love to us each moment.He give an attention to us especially in our study.He always remind us to study hard so that we will be a useful person one day.

           As a conclusion,I love my family so much.My mother,my father,my sister and my brother all have a specific character.I like all their ways.I keep talking about my family but I doesn't talk about me.Actually I'm just an ordinary girl who lives with my own family.And this is my happy family ever after.

LOVE

         What is the one emotion that has everyone mystified? What is the one emotion that has started as many wars as it has ended? What emotion has more songs and stories written about it than anything else? Love, that one emotion that makes enemies into friends and friends into enemies.
          
         Love comes in so many different level, that it does not appear to be the some emotion at all, but it is. There is so much love, that it will be hard to put into this simple essay. It is hard to tell, but there is a lot it can.

         This emotion, bring tears to our eyes when something happens to our family members, friends and pets. When we feel love ripped from us, as in death or being spurned by another, we do things we would not normally do. Some can move on, always remembering the lost loved one after a while, but others cannot let go. There are the ones that need our love and support the most.

         There are so many levels to love, that I can only express a few of them here. Friendship starts this list off. It is does not seem like it, but we do feel love towards our friends. This is help us get along so well, and we miss them when we do not see our friend for a long time. It is also why we hold certain friends over others no matter what happens.

         Another level of love are for our siblings and other family members. It is family bond level of love that brought about the phrase "blood is thicker than water". We will do things for our brothers, sisters, mother, father and children before we would even consider doing them for anyone else. This simple family bond can even extend to include our pets, amazingly enough and that is a good thing.

         A third level to love, is the bond that brings man and women together. This level is among the strongest of them all. It is level of love that has brought together kingdoms into nations in the past and ended many great wars. Even though the two mentioned killed themselves in the end, it still brought their families together.

        The phrase, love makes the world go round is very true. It is our diving force, whatever reason it may be. Poems, plays and legends can only briefly touch the true meaning of love. We can only feel what the meaning is, and express it in ways only we can understand towards another. The true question we should be asking is not, what is life, but what is love.
